In Swedish massage, I do a massage where I use my hands and elbows quite a bit – apart from the very obvious use of the palms themselves. Swedish massage is a real source of relaxation and liberation.
During a Swedish massage, I focus a lot on the process of moving various joints to reduce tension, pressure and of course, ensure optimal blood flow.
One of the most important things I can tell you about Swedish massage is that it includes techniques based on the movement of soft tissues in the body as part of the scientific method by which the joints move and all those soft tissues in the body, which include muscles, tendons and ligaments in the body.
The second thing I’m going to talk about here has to do with what we’re actually trying to achieve when we go to a massage therapist who uses Swedish massage techniques; Swedish massage is meant to help us release blockages so that we can enjoy each day as it comes and without interruption, but the side effect of this release and blood flow is actually the same feeling of calm that actually affects both body and mind.
Another fact that is important to note when talking about Swedish massage is that the massage method is actually used in practice in gyms, spas of all kinds, often this technique is also used by professional massage therapists working in guest houses or hotels.
And perhaps there is nothing strange about this; After all, many of my patients tell me that after treatment and literally even in the first days after treatment, they feel that their energy has returned to them.
In the reality we live in, there are many reasons to prefer Swedish massage; whether it is euphoria for couples, something organized on behalf of an employer, or simply a decision you made on your own because you feel pain in your back or lower back. You can be sure that this decision will bring a smile that will last throughout the entire Swedish massage procedure.
